All over now, baby blue.. Although Josh and his girlfriend Tanya still have some west coast vacationing to do, the rest of us made it home -- and as much as we miss it out there, it's good to be home. Shout outs to the Timonium and I Am The World Trade Center gangs for making this tour so much fun and thanks to too many others to list. We miss you all already. Thanks for coming to the shows and we apologize for not writing as often as we'd hoped, but it was a big rush the whole trip. I met 2/3rds of the Lucksmiths and briefly, Amy Linton, so I guess the tour was a smashing success for me, wasn't it? Until we can put more thoughts together it's back to the grind for now. Cheers.

a quick one while he's away.. Not much time here.. just got CDs in mail.. very excited. Very happy about Saturday's popfest show. Captain's day is in effect -- today Josh is captain and will be deciding our culinary fate. Last night's show was a bit rough but everyone's been so nice to us it's scary. Umm, they made me put in this: on road at rest area I stepped in poo, it was funny for others. Sunday night we stayed at a cheap motel - rated three daggers -- jokes about torso piles, etc.. Enough of me. Wish you were here!

Second verse, same as the first Thursday's mess carried well over into Friday. An accounting goof at the CD plant led to our new CDs not arriving for another two days, meaning the band won't have any music to sell at tonight's popfantasy show. Of the two cars we needed to get us and the equipment to KFJC, one broke down and the wait for AAA kept us from even doing an interview, umm what else.. Oh yeah, after arriving at Bottom of the Hill at 9:20 and waiting in a long line the show sold out before 10 and, even though we were guaranteed spots before 10, all the bands without tickets were denied entry. So we heard bits of Boyracer's show from outside as the door swung open and finally walked off. Josh spouted a rainbow of profanity. Today must be better. In an hour we're at KALX for an interview, and tonight is our 1st show of the tour. I suppose it can only get better from here.

Disorganization.. Yesterday was a wash of panic and running around in circles trying to coordinate 8 friends to accomplish even the most simple tasks, but somehow the day ended with everyone having a place to sleep without drums on top of them. We saw the Lucksmiths, and that was really enough for me, but everyone else seems to be interested in playing the tour so I'll go along with it. Last night Laura Watling lent us drums for today's radio show (thank you so much Laura!) and somehow after a long day we managed to fit a full drum set and five people into an '80s volvo w/o access to the trunk. It was kinda ridiculous. Maybe more later..

So soon Hopefully everything will continue to come together faster than it comes apart. We got a van, finally, and I suppose we're ready to go -- all SEVEN of us. Rock and roll. It all begins the 13th..
